About Us

What is the crescent clinic?

The crescent clinic is a dedicated surgery for dentists who have futhered their study and concentrated their practice to one branch of dentistry.  Currently we have an endodontist (practice limited to root canal) Lynda Elliott, an oral surgeon , Conor McEnhill, and a facial pain and snore management dentist, John O'Brien.  Each practioner works independantly but we have the facilities to call upon each others expertise where appropriate.  It is hoped we will attract further similar dentists with higher qualifications in other fields to enhance the provision of services in Dublins Northside.

What is an Endodontist?

Endodontists are dentists with at least two additional years of advanced specialty education in diagnosis and root canal treatment. Because they limit their practices to endodontics, they treat these types of problems every day. They use their special training and experience in treating difficult cases, such as teeth with narrow or blocked canals, or unusual anatomy. Endodontists may use advanced technology, such as operating microscopes, ultrasonics and digital imaging, to perform these special services

Where?

The Crescent Clinic is located in a historic georgian crescent between the end of the Howth Road and Malahide Road in Fairview.  You may know it, as it was famously where Bram Stroker wrote Dracula.  However, rest assure there is no similarity between the book and the clinic!
Please see the enclosed map for your orientation.     Map

Parking?

There is plenty of on street parking in the Crescent but it  is pay and display.  please bring change for this and make sure you give yourself plenty of time as the appointment may be prolonged.

Dart?
The Clontarf Road Dart station is located across the road and is about a 5 min walk away. See map.

Bus?
All buses coming down the Malahide, Howth and Clontarf Roads stop within metres of the practice.
